I’ve been making plans to visit my mom before summer ends, so I can enjoy the Adirondacks in a nonwinter setting. Every time I go to visit her, it always happens to be in the winter. I’ve wanted to go apple picking – or hiking up a mountain.

But one place I’ve been dreaming of has been to go to the Star Trek Original Set Tours in Ticonderoga or what I like to call the Star Trek Museum. As someone who visited Las Vegas to go to a Star Trek exhibit they had at the Hilton, this Star Trek nerd will go anywhere to see some cool stuff. I just never expected sandwiched in the Adirondacks would be this set tour in between a brick building as you drive these tiny roads.

I took these pictures outside the building unfortunately, it wasn’t open when we passed it because of the limited hours during the winter.

I really can’t wait to go traveling again and this is one of the places I’d like to visit. I’d also really like to get my passport to visit Canada the next time I’m up in the Adirondacks to visit my mom – so we can go and enjoy some Canadian Nicaraguan food. 🙂
