Livestream on Multiple Platforms Free: Try Restream.io!

For years, I’ve wanted to get into livestream, but could never justify streaming strictly on Twitch.tv since I was spending a lot of my energy on YouTube at the time. At one point, I used to stream via my phone on one platform and my laptop with another. And while it got the job done, it was a bit cumbersome to set up. And I always wished I could stream to multiple platforms and I was always stumped on what to use to achieve this.

Until I discovered Restream.io which I was rather impressed by.

Livestream on Multiple Platforms Free

Restream.io allows you to stream on multiple platforms simultaneously. Honestly, discovering this tool has made setting up for live streams more fun. I can livestream on Periscope/Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch at the same time. And I can focus on updating titles, sending out messages that I’m going live instead of worrying about setting up multiple devices.

And instead, I can focus my energy on updating my OBS setup!

The best part about this service is it allows me to stream on three outlets at once which is great for me especially with wanting to livestream my drawing session and not wanting to exclude a part of my followers. And now you can stream on Instagram and I feel I have a wider reach than if I streamed on one platform.

In Conclusion

Feel free to explore it if you’re interested; check it out. If not, no worries. But if you’re someone wanting to share your streams on more than one platform to reach more of your audience. I think it’s worth checking out. I mean I think it’s pretty cool and generous that you can stream up to three outlets for free. Anything more than that, and I think you have to pay for the Pro version, which I’m intrigued to try in the future and let you guys know if it’s worth the hype or not.

Based on all the features you get for just the free account, it is pretty impressive to me. Especially when it comes to streaming on multiple platforms. Granted we rely on using OBS so your experience may be different. I think it’s also pretty dang cool that you get stats and a consolidated chat window so you can keep up with your audience. Currently, my livestreams lack an audience, but I believe this tool will be beneficial.

For now, check it out and let me know your thoughts. And feel free to let me know about other services out there that you know.

& Stay Awesome,

Alethea
