Radiate FM Website (2006)

Between 2004 and 2008, I played a significant role in the creation of the website for Radiate FM, the radio station at Florida International University (FIU). This project was a labor of love, combining my passion for coding and design with my dedication to representing the station effectively online.

ABOUT RADIATE FM WEBSITE PROJECT

The website served as the digital face of Radiate FM, providing a platform for listeners to engage with the station’s content and stay connected with the latest news and events. As a member of the team responsible for its development, I worked tirelessly to ensure that the website reflected the unique identity and mission of Radiate FM.

Using my coding skills, I built the website from the ground up, carefully crafting each element to deliver an intuitive and immersive user experience. From designing the layout and navigation to integrating multimedia content and interactive features, every aspect of the website was meticulously planned and executed.

One of the key objectives of the website was to showcase the diverse range of programming offered by Radiate FM, from music and talk shows to live events and interviews. I worked closely with station staff to highlight featured programs and personalities, ensuring that the website served as a dynamic hub for both listeners and contributors alike.

Throughout its lifespan, the Radiate FM website evolved and adapted to meet the changing needs and preferences of its audience. I remained actively involved in its maintenance and updates, continually seeking ways to enhance functionality and usability.

Looking back, my involvement in creating the Radiate FM website was a formative experience that allowed me to hone my skills and make a meaningful contribution to the university community. It was rewarding to see the website grow and evolve over the years, serving as a vital hub for student radio enthusiasts at FIU.
