Libraries Redesign (2017)

In 2017, I was part of a committee tasked with revitalizing and modernizing the library's website. Our mission was to create a user-friendly and visually appealing online platform that would better serve the needs of our patrons.

ABOUT LIBRARIES REDESIGN PROJECT

To kick off the project, we engaged in extensive consultations with various stakeholders within the library community. These meetings provided valuable insights into the specific needs and preferences of different user groups, ranging from students and faculty to library staff and administrators.

Drawing upon this feedback, we collaborated closely with library staff to identify key features and functionalities to include in the website redesign. We worked tirelessly to ensure that the new website would be intuitive to navigate, responsive across different devices, and accessible to all users.

Throughout the process, communication and collaboration were paramount. We held regular meetings to discuss progress, share updates, and address any challenges that arose along the way. Each member of the committee brought unique perspectives and expertise to the table, contributing to the success of the project as a whole.

As the redesign took shape, we solicited feedback from the library community through focus groups, surveys, and usability testing. This iterative approach allowed us to fine-tune the design and functionality of the website based on real-world user experiences and preferences.

In the end, the revamped website was met with enthusiasm and appreciation from both patrons and library staff. It was a testament to the power of collaboration and teamwork in achieving our shared goal of creating a digital space that truly served the needs of our diverse community.
