I co-presented with Daniel Scheide on the FAU Recorded Sound Archives’ special collection of Jewish music, song, and rare books. My presentation highlighted the Judaica collection and the history of the archive, including a video tour of vintage audio equipment and demonstrations of recording techniques. We showcased cantorial recordings, rare books as art objects, and the cultural significance of Jewish sound heritage. The event celebrated Jewish arts and entertainment, alongside performances by actor/singer Adam Shapiro and Klezmer ensemble the Klezmaniacs.
